2005 Toyota RAV4: Overview

Toyota's smallest SUV is little-changed after its 2004 update. RAV4 returns with a 2.4-liter 4-cyl engine and manual transmission or extra-cost automatic. It offers front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive without low-range gearing. Four-wheel antilock disc brakes and antiskid system are standard, as is a tire-pressure monitor. Options include front torso side airbags and head-protecting curtain side airbags, plus leather upholstery, alloy wheels, and sunroof. A redesigned RAV4 with an available V6 is during the 2006 model year.
